LE TALLEC OF PARIS PORCELAIN Here is your opportunity to purchase a stunning Le Tallec of Paris Hand Painted Silent Butler. This piece offered here is a rare find. It features a colorful motif of hand painted Birds of Paradise amongst flowers on a stylized gold background. All are adorned with gilt border detailing. The inside of the box is decorated with gold star decorations. Please see all photos! It is in pristine condition. No chips, cracks, crazing to report. There is slight wear to the gilding on the handle . There is some residue, tarnishing to the gold, and some discoloration to the hinges consistent with age . It is marked on the bottom with the Marker's mark. There is the L T motif in blue with the letters C R beneath. Surrounding these blue markings there is French handwriting in orange. Unfortunately, I do not read French. Please see all photos! The box portion measures approximately 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" x 1 3/4" h Quite a unique Le Tallec Find very worthy of adding to your collection!
