Up for sale is a Lynne & Michael Roche Artist Doll . Made in England. This is Small Hannah. She is 15" tall with bisque head and hands and bisque articulated body with wooden ball joints. She has brown glass eyes, and a brown human hair wig. She is wearing a Multi-colored knit sweater , red and white checked cotton skirt with matching pants, printed cotton smock with applique tree, white socks and black tie-front shoes.She is signed on the back of her head:Small Hannah 181 and behind her ear LGR 90 and on her butt. She comes with her original tag. She is in Near Mint Condition..A darling girl for you to love. Lynne creates the dolls, hand paints them and dresses them using vintage fabrics and hand-dyed fabrics and wools plus hand-knitted wool .She embellishes the look with hand embroidery and appliques. Michael hand carves all the lime wood bodies and makes the moulds. Their dolls are loved worldwide and were made in small limited editions. They do not make production dolls anymore, just special dolls for Spring and Christmas, so the precious few they did make have become highly sought after Treasures.
