The text also includes an account of the author's meeting with Jesse James. The book first appeared in 1912; for sale is the slightly revised second edition of 1927. This copy is signed and inscribed by Winget on the dedication page. An uncommon book and extremely rare signed. The book lacks a dustjacket but is otherwise in quite good shape for its age. The covers show dust and small stains, as seen in the photos. The binding is strong. There is a small owner address label inside the front cover. The text has just a little foxing and other minor signs of age and handling, no significant flaws. Certainly a presentable copy of a rare Western collector's item. Hardcover, 5."
